Has Boomer turned over a new leaf?

I may be jinxing things - but - Boomer has a stuffed toy that has lasted 8 days with only minor injuries. He has not ripped it apart and pulled the stuffing out. Usually, the first innards appear within the first half hour. We keep saying "gentle" whenever he picks the toy up - so maybe that's it. It also could be that his previous toy-destruction was part of the dominance issues. So, maybe our having taken control of that issue has also resulted in a kinder gentler Boomer when it comes to stuffed animals. Or - maybe it's because the new stuffed animal is a dog and he relates to it. Maybe I will come home from work today and regret having written this post! :)
